BitVault is now officially live on iOS.

This public launch marks an important step in our mission to make advanced Bitcoin self-custody more resilient against digital compromise, physical coercion and the risks created when one key or one device has too much power.

Beyond protecting keys

Bitcoin security is often reduced to one question: how safely is the private key stored?

That question matters, but it is not enough. Real-world security also depends on the devices used to sign, the people operating them and the speed at which an irreversible transaction can be completed.

A hardware wallet is an essential component of a strong setup. It should not, however, be the entire security architecture.

BitVault is designed around a broader principle: one compromised component should not automatically become immediate and total loss.

How BitVault protects Humans

BitVault combines several layers of protection in a non-custodial, Bitcoin-only application:

• Multisig coordination across separate hardware wallets
• Hardware-enforced signing, keeping private keys away from internet-connected devices
• Customizable transaction delays from 2 hours to 15 days
• A protection window in which a pending transfer can be reviewed and cancelled
• Optional secret notifications to alert trusted contacts when protected activity begins

The result is a security model designed not only to protect keys, but also to create time to detect and react when something is wrong.

Your keys and Bitcoin remain under your control. BitVault does not hold customer funds or private keys, and the application is 100% open source.

Two supported hardware wallets

BitVault currently works with two supported hardware wallets in every active setup. At launch, users can choose between:

• Keystone 3 Pro BTC-Only
• Blockstream Jade Plus

The two devices can be combined in a multivendor configuration, reducing dependence on a single signing device or manufacturer.

Limited launch packages

To make it easier to build a compatible setup, the official launch packages include hardware-wallet vouchers.

1-Year Security Package — $199

The 1-year package includes:

• 12 months of BitVault Pro
• One hardware-wallet voucher for a Keystone 3 Pro BTC-Only or Jade Plus
• Up to $398 in combined retail value
• A saving of $199, approximately 50%

BitVault requires two supported hardware wallets. This package is therefore best suited to users who already own one compatible device or plan to acquire the second device separately.

2-Year Security Package — $299

The 2-year package includes:

• 24 months of BitVault Pro
• Two hardware-wallet vouchers
• Any mix of Keystone 3 Pro BTC-Only and Jade Plus
• A complete two-device multivendor setup
• Up to $797 in combined retail value
• A saving of $498, approximately 62%

For new users starting without compatible hardware, this is the simplest route to a complete BitVault setup.

How the hardware vouchers work

After purchasing a launch package, you will receive an email with instructions to select your preferred hardware wallet or device combination.

Once your selection has been confirmed, you will receive the relevant voucher code or codes to redeem directly with Keystone and/or Blockstream.

Shipping eligibility, taxes, customs duties, warranty conditions and delivery times may vary by destination. Keystone and Blockstream are independent manufacturers and manage the fulfilment and warranty of their respective devices.
